The main characters started to grate against my nerves a bit, in some cases a whole lot. Anyway, it wasn't awful, but not nearly as good as the first. It felt like a whole lot of build up, with a weak conclusion. Maybe it was the narration, but I just wanted the story to end. It was weak, and by this book I absolutely couldn't stand Beth. So I'm going to go against the grain on this one. *You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.* And Rob well what can I say he is Daemon through and through for me. Again I think Justine’s voice is a little old sounding for teenagers but once you get used to it you don’t even notice it anymore. I again loved the dual narration for this book as I did the last. Luke is a character I grew to like and his story for me doesn’t feel finished. Dee and Archer also have some big issues to overcome.

Some pretty crazy stuff goes down in this book and I can’t say that it doesn’t keep you on the edge of your seat. Daemon really because “humanized” he learned to let his feelings show and if that wasn’t hella sexy I don’t know what is because you wouldn’t have thought he would even grow to be like that from book one. She doubts herself but when push comes to shove she know what to say and how to say it in a way that everyone likes her and looks at the situation differently. But she has a way about her that you can’t help but admire. Not only does she not let Daemon get away with anything. This book had some highs and lows and it was slow in some parts but overall I can’t complain. I can't remember the last time I binged a series like this. The author as a way with words when she can keep me interested in all 5 books. I really enjoyed the journey both Katy and Daemon go through.
